About

This body of work is rooted in exploration—of the internal world, of nature, the feminine and of emotional spaces. Intuitive layering of color, texture, and gesture as a way of exploring emotions of the feminine experience—including intuition, containment, emergence, grief, joy, and regeneration. The process reflects cycles found in nature and in life: growth, collapse, regression, and rebirth.

I am especially drawn to native spaces—the swampy, overgrown, and overlooked places where life regenerates quietly. Organic forms, unexpected colors and shifting light appear as guides through these landscapes. My work holds tension between heavy and light, dark and bright, offering a visual language for finding possibility within uncertainty and renewal within change. This tension invites participants into a deep listening within the body and inner world, allowing meaning to arise organically through the viewer’s personal experience.
